    Terrebonne Parish man accused of sexually abusing juvenile at party

    TERREBONNE PARISH, La. ( WGNO ) — Terrebonne Parish officers arrested a 52-year-old Bourg man on charges of indecent behavior with a juvenile and sexual battery.

    According to the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division, deputies were alerted about a “sexually motivated” incident involving a juvenile on Sunday, June 30. The alleged incident occurred in the 4100 block of Bayou Estates Drive during a party.

    In an interview with the TPSO, the victim identified Gerald Joseph Danos, Jr. as the person allegedly responsible for the abuse. The victim and parent disclosed details of the sexual abuse, which happened days prior.

    After further investigation by the TPSO Sexual Victims Unit, detectives arrested Danos on Monday, July 8.

    He was booked into the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex but released on a $21,000 bond, according to TPSO.
