On Monday, July 8, MLive went skyward to take a birds-eye perspective of the rural mega site project. Crews could be seen hauling large amounts of dirt and others starting to erect the exterior walls of the 1.8 million-square-foot plant. According to Ford Motor Company the project is about 20 percent complete at the 1,900-acre site. The plant itself sits on roughly 500 acres of the site.
