Man arrested for robbing two banks in Palm Beach County: DOJ
MIAMI, Fla. (CBS12) — A man was arrested for robbing two banks in Palm Beach County. The first robbery occurred in Boca Raton at the Truist Bank in June. According to the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) the robbery happened at 9:30 a.m. Courtney Mallory is accused of entering the Truist bank on State Road 441 and brandishing what appeared to be a firearm.
Man arrested 3 months after deadly crash with bicyclist in Lake Worth
LAKE WORTH, Fla. (CBS12) — A man is accused of leaving the scene of a deadly crash after he struck a bicyclist in Lake Worth over three months ago. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBSO) said the hit-and-run crash took place on March 29. At around 7:30 a.m., a Dodge Nitro SUV driven by Christopher Ardella, 55, was headed northbound on Military Trail, approaching Lantana Road. At the same time, 55-year-old Adalberto Mercado was riding a bike across the intersection.
