Fostoria Police searching for alleged robber
FOSTORIA, Ohio (WTVG) - The Fostoria Police Department is asking for help identifying a man accused of robbing a Dollar General on July 14. According to a press release from the police department, a Dollga General employee reported that a man came into the store around 9:50 p.m. Sunday and demanded money from the register. The employee told police that the man reached into his back pocket and said, “Don’t make me use this.”

A family and their dog escaped a fire at their home Tuesday afternoon in Bowling Green. BG Fire Division was called to the home in the 300 block of West Poe Road at 2:26 p.m., after a child at the home notified the mother that the garage was on fire, BG Fire Captain Nathan Espinoza said. The family escaped with no injuries.
