Indianapolis Man Sentenced To 16 Years In Prison For Drug Possession And Aggravated Battery
On Friday, a narcotics possession charge and his involvement in an October 2021 shooting led to a 16-year prison sentence for an Indianapolis man. IMPD officers from the Northwest District responded to a report of a person shot on Oct. 18, 2021, in the 5500 block of W 38th Street. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult female who had suffered gunshot wounds. She was transported to a nearby hospital and is reported to be in stable condition. IMPD initiated an investigation into the incident shortly after.

Carmel to cut the ribbon on Police Department expansion
Carmel Mayor Sue Finkam will play host to a ribbon cutting for the recently completed expansion of the Carmel Police Department (CPD). The renovation and expansion of the CPD headquarters will support the necessary growth in police department infrastructure that corresponds with the city’s increase in population over the past few decades. Final Stats Butler's All Good Dawgs team posted a convincing 90-67 win in the opening round of the 2024 TBT. AGD knocked off Fail Harder at Hinkle Fieldhouse in front of a very pro-Butler crowd. AGD led 26-19 after the first quarter and held a nine-point advantage entering the fourth period.
