Scattered showers possible today, but lower temperatures and dry conditions on the way
Temperatures are expected to drop, and many places will remain dry through the weekend. The National Weather Service says there’s a 20-30% chance of scattered showers and storms across mid-Missouri today. In southern Missouri, there is a marginal risk for severe storms with large hail and damaging wind gusts. Those storms are expected to be south of the Lebanon area.
Missouri woman sentenced for interfering with family housing rights
A Missouri woman has pleaded guilty to interfering with the housing rights of a St. Louis family. U.S. District Judge Rodney W. Sippel sentenced Judy Kline, 55, to five years of probation, the maximum term available for this crime. During her probation, Kline must remain in the nursing home where she is currently living and receiving mental health treatment, or a similar facility. She is also prohibited from contacting the victims or approaching their residence.

The kicker is that the Kansas City Star reported that Patrick Mahomes, the mastermind behind Whataburger invading Missouri, plans to eventually have 30 locations in the state. Hard to believe that it was just 2 years ago when Missouri got its first Whataburger. Now, they're almost everywhere.
