Elmira residents urged to combat graffiti in city parks
Friends of the Chemung River Watershed encourages Elmira residents to help get rid of the graffiti that keeps appearing in City Parks like Beecher Park on Cypress Street. “I see graffiti in this area and I see the maintenance should probably be improved. But, the city’s strapped, I guess,“ said John from Elmira. “You know, it’s a concern when there’s kids involved. I think they should prioritize money for kiddos and go around and fix this up. I know there’s a lot of maintenance involved. If you’ve got the best interest of the kids, I think they could do upgrades.”
