Associated Student Body (ASB)
Broadview-Thomson Associated Student Body (ASB) The Associated Student Body (ASB) is often known as student council or student government, we have six officially elected student leadership positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and two Public Relations Officers. Our ASB makes decisions about school spirit activities, fundraising, and also approves money spent on field trips and other school activities.

Licton Springs K-8 has made a commitment to intentionally support students in their effective use of technology. We have a variety of school related technology available throughout the school day, students will have access to their school issued iPads or laptops for a variety of educational purposes, directed by school staff.
Seattle Schools Nourish Education with $100,000 USDA Farm to School Grant
The City of Seattle has good news for its public school system and local food producers, as it lands a nearly $100,000 USDA Farm to School grant. Detailing on the grant objectives, the investment aims to augment the capacity of Seattle Public Schools (SPS) Culinary Services, boost student access to food systems education, and up the ante on training for school garden practitioners, according to a post on greenspace.seattle.gov.
Illumination Learning Studio offering registration for Fall Toddler Music and Movement sessions
Illumination Learning Studio (ILS), our local kid’s music, drama, voice, and fine arts organization, has opened registration for their Fall Toddler Music and Movement sessions. This class lets toddlers and their parents or caregivers explore the joys of music, learning to recognize rhythms, practicing large motor coordination, and socializing with other families through song. Participants will learn through echoing and sequencing, rhythm and movement, ear training, and exploration of piano keys and instruments.
