    Here's what's coming up in the 2024-25 season for Brevard theater. These schedules are subject to change. Check the theaters' websites for the most up-to-date information, including information about auditions.

    Broadway on Brevard series

    • "Fiddler on the Roof," Sept. 20 – Oct. 6, 2024. In this award-winning musical, with the help of a colorful and tight-knit Jewish community, Tevye the milkman tries to protect his daughters and instill them with traditional values in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. Auditions Aug. 4 and 5, 2024.
    • "Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," Nov. 22 – Dec. 8, 2024. Based on the famous novel by Roald Dahl, the musical tells the story of Willy Wonka opening the gates to his mysterious factory… but only to a lucky few.
    • "Hello, Dolly!" Jan. 31 – Feb. 16, 2025. The classic musical follows the romantic and comic exploits of Dolly Gallagher Levi, turn-of-the-20th-century matchmaker and “woman who arranges things.”
    • "Kinky Boots," March 21 – 30, 2025. In the musical, Charlie Price has reluctantly inherited his father's shoe factory, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. Trying to live up to his father's legacy, Charlie finds inspiration in the form of Lola, a fabulous entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos.
    • "Jesus Christ Superstar," May 2 – 18, 2025. Loosely based on the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, this rock opera follows the last week of Jesus Christ’s life.

    • "Disney’s Beauty and the Beast," Aug. 16 – Sept. 8, 2024. The classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress.
    • “Sweeney Todd,” Oct. 4 – 27, 2024. Attend the dark, witty and musical tale of love, murder and revenge set against the backdrop of 19th century London. Auditions Aug. 4 and 5, 2024.
    • “A Christmas Story: The Musical,” Nov. 22 – Dec. 15, 2024. Set in the 1940s, the musical follows 9-year-old Ralphie Parker and his quest for his ideal Christmas gift—an official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot Range Model air rifle. Auditions Sept. 22 and 23, 2024.
    • “Holiday Spectacular: Home for the Holidays,” Dec. 19 – 22, 2024. The show includes live music, outstanding vocalists, dancers and specialty acts. Featuring iconic holiday tunes from the classic era to new contemporary favorites, this production is something for the entire family. (This show is a mainstage special event.)
    • “My Fair Lady,” Jan. 17 – Feb. 9, 2025. Eliza Doolittle is a flower seller with a Cockney accent which keeps her in the lower rungs of society. When Professor Henry Higgins teaches her how to speak like a proper lady, an unlikely friendship flourishes. Auditions Nov. 10 and 11, 2024.
    • “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change,” Feb. 14 – 23, 2025. This musical revue celebrating the mating game takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum known as “the relationship.” (This show is a mainstage special event.)
    • “Something Rotten,” March 7 – 30, 2025. Two brothers set out to write the world’s first musical in this hilarious mash-up of 16th-century Shakespeare and 21st-century Broadway. Auditions Jan. 5 and 6, 2025.
    • “To Be Announced,” May 2 – 25, 2025. Auditions March 9 and 10, 2025.
    • “On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan,” June 13 – 22, 2025. The story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan, who believed in their talent, their music and each other, and became an international sensation. (This show is a mainstage special event.)

    Upstairs @ Henegar series:

    • “Divas Live! Through the Decades,” Sept. 13 – 22, 2024. This musical revue features songs by Patsy Cline, Donna Summer, Mariah Carey, Katy Perry, Tina Turner and Madonna.
    • “The Last Five Years,” April 4 – 13, 2025. Featuring a two-person cast, this modern musical ingeniously chronicles the five-year life of a marriage, from meeting to break-up and from break-up to meeting.
    • “Country Roads,” April 18 – 27, 2025. This musical revue features songs from Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Shania Twain, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash and Garth Brooks.

    • "The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife," Aug. 2 – Sept. 8, 2024. Plunged into a mid-life crisis of Medea-like proportions, middle-aged Marjorie Taub is shaken out of her lethargy by the reappearance of a fascinating and somewhat mysterious childhood friend.
    • "Dr. Cook’s Garden," Oct. 4 – Nov. 10, 2024. A chilling suspense melodrama, the play is concerned with an idyllic New England town and the kindly doctor who would keep it that way—by any means necessary. Auditions Aug. 4 and 5, 2024.
    • “It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play,” Dec. 6 – 22, 2024. This adaptation of the beloved classic takes place at radio station WBFR in New York City, as the cast assembles and performs a live broadcast version of the holiday favorite. Auditions Oct. 6 and 7, 2024.
    • “Becky’s New Car,” Jan. 17 – Feb. 23, 2025. Becky Foster is caught in middle age with no prospects for change until a socially inept and grief-struck millionaire stumbles into her life. Auditions Nov. 10 and 11, 2024.
    • “Move Over, Mrs. Markham,” March 21 – April 27, 2025. In this madcap farce, three sets of hopeful lovers converge at the Markham’s supposedly empty house on the same night. Auditions Jan. 19 and 20, 2025.
    • “Present Laughter,” May 23 – June 29, 2025. In Noel Coward’s comedy, world-weary matinee idol Garry Essendine’s affairs with infatuated debutantes is largely tolerated, but playing closer to home is not. Auditions March 23 and 24, 2025.

    • "45 Seconds From Broadway,” Sept. 6 – 22, 2024. Neil Simon’s comedy takes place in the legendary "Polish Tea Room" on New York's 47th Street. Here Broadway theater personalities washed-up and on-the-rise gather to schmooze even as they lose.
    • “Rent,” Nov. 1 – 17, 2024. Set in the East Village of New York City, “Rent” is about falling in love, finding your voice and living for today. Auditions Sept. 8 and 9, 2024.
    • “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” Jan. 3 – 19, 2025. This stage adaptation of Ken Kesey's celebrated novel explores the brutality of life in a mental institution with humor, candor and unforgettable characters. Auditions Nov. 3 and 4, 2024.
    • “Seussical The Musical,” Feb. 28 – March 16, 2025. The show brings to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination – Jojo. Auditions Jan. 5 and 6, 2025.
    • “The Mousetrap,” April 25 – May 11, 2025. In Agatha Christie’s play, after a local woman is murdered, the guests and staff at Monkswell Manor find themselves stranded during a snowstorm. It soon becomes clear that the killer is among them. Auditions March 2 and 3, 2025.
    • “The Maltese Falcon and Every Other Film Noir You’ve Ever Known Fractured,” June 13 – 29, 2025. This original comedy offers a fresh, fun take on the classic film noir genre. Auditions April 27 and 28, 2025.

    • "Tootsie," July 26 – Aug. 18, 2024. Based on the hit comedy film, desperate and out-of-work actor Michael Dorsey makes a last-ditch effort at making his dreams come true by disguising himself as actress Dorothy Michaels.
    • "Million Dollar Quartet," Sept. 6 – 29, 2024. This musical takes place in December 1956, when an extraordinary twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever.
    • “Anastasia, the Musical,” Oct. 25 – Nov. 17, 2024. This musical transports its audience from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Auditions July 29, 30 and 31, 2024.
    • “What A Wonderful World,” Nov. 29– Dec. 15, 2024. The show follows Santa and Mrs. Claus as they try to retire, but they must pass the baton to a new Santa. Their choice, a young advertising executive from New York City, declines the job, putting the fate of Christmas in jeopardy. Auditions July 29, 30 and 31, 2024.
    • "Jersey Boys," Jan. 10 – Feb. 23, 2025. This musical takes audiences behind the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons to discover the secret of a 40-year friendship as the foursome work their way from the streets of New Jersey to the heights of stardom. Auditions Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, 2024.
    • "Waitress," March 14 – April 20, 2025. Waitress and pie-maker Jenna dreams of a way out of her small town and rocky marriage. A baking contest brings her hope of a fresh start, as long as she has the courage to seize it. Auditions Jan. 13 and 14, 2025.
    • "Altar Boyz," May 2 – 25, 2025. A foot-stomping, rafter-raising musical comedy about a fictitious Christian boy band on the last night of their national tour. The Boyz are five heartthrobs from Ohio: Matthew, Mark, Luke, Juan and Abraham. Auditions Jan. 13 and 14, 2025.

    Stage 2 series:

    • “Bat Boy: The Musical,” Sept. 20 – Oct. 6, 2024. Based on a story in The Weekly World News, this musical comedy/horror show is about a half boy/half bat creature discovered in a cave near Hope Falls, West Virginia.
    • "The Rocky Horror Show," Oct. 18 – Nov. 1, 2024. This live staging of the musical that inspired the 1975 classic cult film follows Brad and Janet as they seek shelter at a mysterious old castle on a dark and stormy night. Auditions July 29, 30 and 31, 2024.
    • "The Men of Motown," Nov. 15 - 16, 2024. This cabaret will pay tribute to musicians like Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Smokey Robinson, The Jackson 5 and countless others
    • “A Christmas Carol,” Dec. 6 – 22, 2024. Curmudgeon Ebeneezer Scrooge faces his selfish ways when three ghosts visit him on Christmas Eve.
    • “Jimmy Buffet’s Escape to Margaritaville,” Jan. 31 – Feb. 23, 2025. This musical comedy features the most-loved Jimmy Buffett classics, including “Cheeseburger in Paradise”, “Margaritaville” and more. Auditions Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, 2024.
    • "Sistas of Soul," Feb. 28 - March 1, 2025. This concert looks back at the greatness of Etta, Gladys, Patti, Roberta, The Voice, The Queen of Soul, and so many more.
    • “The 39 Steps,” April 4 – 20, 2025. Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have this fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theater. Auditions Jan. 13 and 14, 2025.
