Chittenango’s Jim Marshall Farms Foundation hosts free therapy sessions
CHITTENANGO — The Jim Marshall Farms Foundation, Inc. in Chittenango is hosting free one-hour mental health therapy sessions once a month through October 2024. Dr. James “Doc” Marshall, a now 90-year-old retired Fayetteville veterinarian, established the not-for-profit foundation to help people suffering from depression and other emotional struggles.

Triple Shooting in Syracuse: Three Injured in Stone Court
(WNY News Now) – Syracuse, NY – On Sunday, July 21, 2024, at approximately 8:06 p.m., Syracuse Police Officers responded to multiple gunshots detected by ShotSpotter at Stone Court in the James Geddes Housing complex. Upon arrival, officers found two female victims with apparent gunshot wounds to their legs. Both victims, aged 27 and 16, were transported to University Hospital and are in stable condition, expected to survive.
