Asbury Park, NJ – June 26, 2024 – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County (BGCM) hosted its 17th annual “Swing for the Kids” golf tournament on Monday, June 24th, at the prestigious Hollywood Golf Club in Deal. For those who may have missed the news, the Barnegat Light Ocean Mile Swim is making a comeback this summer, and registration for the event is ongoing right now. Last year, the Friends of Barnegat Light Beach Patrol took over the operation of the event after it was canceled for a second straight summer last July, and the race officially opened for registration this spring. As of this past weekend, about 170 positions remained available.
