Police work for tips for Special Olympics, Tip-a-Cop
Central Texas (FOX44) – Waco and Killeen police among others are working this week waiting tables for tips, raising money for Special Olympics. The annual Tip-a-Cop fundraiser will be taking place at Texas Roadhouse restaurants, bringing officers and local athletes together to raise money for Special Olympics programs. The funds raised go toward providing sports training and athletic competitions for local children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
