Man killed in crash southwest of Willmar Tuesday morning
(Willmar MN-) A Willmar man is dead after a crash between a car and a semi loaded with turkeys southwest of Willmar this morning. The crash happened during the heavy rainstorm on Highway 23 near Kandiyohi County Road 5 on the southwest corner of Willmar, around 7:47 a.m. Preliminary info is that the 42-year-old driver of the Honda Civic was killed and the semi driver, a 30-year-old Willmar man, was not injured. The semi was traveling eastbound, toward Willmar, and the Honda was westbound on 23 when they collided. No names have been released at this time.
Homeless Level Three Predatory Offender “Moves” to St. Cloud
(KNSI) — The St. Cloud Police Department says a Level Three Predatory Offender has moved into the city. James Stamps Junior told authorities he arrived in town on July 22nd and listed his address as homeless, but said he is working on securing more permanent housing soon. Offenders listed as homeless are required to check in once a week with police.

Minneapolis City Council considers another $1.4 million in workers’ comp settlements with cops
