BRIMFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Officers with the Brimfield Police Department will now wear body cameras while on duty.
Sheriff Cocchi’s Summer Camp receives grant from Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno According to the Brimfield Police Department, every sworn officer will have a body camera on during patrol shifts. The goal is to enhance the documentation of interactions between officers and the public to ensure accurate accounts of incidents and promote a higher standard of conduct within the department.
Brimfield Police say the body-worn camera program was funded through a $32,000 grant from the Executive Office of Public and Security.

- Warwick Police Department – $8,940.00

Hampshire County
- Belchertown Police Department – $58,705.83
- Goshen Police Department – $26,050.00
Berkshire County
- Adams Police Department – $110,464.74
- Hinsdale Police Department – $52,636.00
- Lanesborough Police Department – $39,700.00
- North Adams Police Department – $21,015.00
