    One killed, one critical after crash on Hwy. 65 in Isanti County

    A man is dead, and a woman is critically injured after two vehicles collided in Isanti County on Thursday.

    Mark Florian Dauer, 63, of Athens, Minnesota, was driving his green 1999 Dodge Dakota driving north on Highway 65 at the intersection of 269th Avenue NE, when he was struck by a westbound Dodge Ram 2500.

    Both drivers were taken to Cambridge Hospital, where Dauer would die from his injuries. The driver of the Ram remains in critical condition.

    The Minnesota State Patrol has confirmed that alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
