2 men found shot at 'chaotic' scene in Duluth

An investigation is underway following a shooting that left two men injured near downtown Duluth.

It happened around 2:15 a.m. Saturday on the 100 block of East 3rd St., where responding officers found a 56-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest.

He was taken to a local hospital and remains hospitalized, according to a news release from the Duluth Police Department.

A second man shot in the incident, 29 years old, drove himself to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the lower abdomen, police say. He was treated and subsequently released.
