Revival will host 'Hot Wing Challenge' during Open Streets in September

If you've seen social media stars take on food challenges or try the latest intensely spicy food and thought, 'I could do that,' your chariot has arrived.

Revival is bringing back its Hot Wing Challenge in September, promising to serve brutal heat that surpasses its Poultrygeist Sauce.

The restaurant will bring the heat on Sept. 28 at its Nicollet Ave. location in the Kingfield neighborhood . The Hot Wing Challenge takes place the same day as Open Streets Nicollet, with the devilish wings served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Revival's full menu will be served inside during Open Streets. Outside, a hot wing menu with 10 flavors will be offered, including the Hot Wing Challenge with a $250 gift card going to the challenge winner. The champ will be the individual who can eat 12 "Don't Do It" wings the fastest.

The patio will also have beer, wine, and specialty cocktails with live music from Roadrunner Records.

Bold diners can sign up for the challenge on the day of the event, and they'll, of course, have to sign a waiver to join in the collective gastrointestinal mistake.
