Minnesota's first Baskin-Robbins and Jimmy John’s co-location opens Saturday

Minnesota's first co-located Baskin-Robbins and Jimmy John’s opens Saturday in Anoka.

The new restaurant at 600 Green Haven Parkway officially opens at 10 a.m., with the first 31 customers set to receive free ice cream scoops for one year.

The grand opening celebration is also set to include prize wheel giveaways, music and more.

According to a news release, the new 2,300-square-foot restaurant is owned and operated by franchise partners Josh Peterson, Shane Perttula and Dylan Gregersen, who currently own other Jimmy John’s locations.

“As an Anoka native, I was thrilled at the opportunity to bring a brand that I love such as Baskin-Robbins to my hometown,” Gregersen stated. “Our other Jimmy John’s locations work very closely with local schools, and I intend to uphold that tradition with the addition of our Baskin-Robbins shop.”

The 31-seat restaurant, which also features a small outdoor seating area, is scheduled to be open daily from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.
