Portion Of Center Street In Flora Reopens Street Parking Thursday, July 25
The Town of Flora issued a notice for the community that street parking will be permitted once again in areas of Center Street following testing. Earlier this month, the town announced that street parking would be closed from July 17 through Wednesday, July 24, where street parking was not be permitted from the 200 Block of South Center Street through the 900 Block of South Center Street in Flora from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. as a Vactor truck conducted lead and copper tests in the area.

Mulberry Community Library Closes Next Week For Construction
The Frankfort Community Public Library announced that the Mulberry Community Library will be closed next week for construction and will reopen following Aug. 2. The Mulberry Community Library will be closed from Monday, July 29 through Friday, Aug. 2 for construction. The library announced that no fines or fees will be incurred during the week as patrons will be permitted to keep their items for an extra week before returning them on Saturday, Aug. 3 without the added fines.
