Cross represented the American League’s Future Stars in a seven-inning defeat to the National League’s Future Stars, 6-1.

He entered the game in the fifth inning, and reached base safely on a fielding error in that frame. His second and final at-bat resulted in a strikeout.

Tennessee alum, Chase Dollander, also made an appearance on Saturday as the starter for the National League squad. He threw 16 pitches in the first inning, allowing one hit and no runs scored in limited action.

The 2024 MLB All-Star Weekend continues with the Home Run Derby on Monday and the All-Star Game on Tuesday.
