    Steele Creek Park photo contest accepting entries

    BRISTOL, Tenn. (WJHL) — Amateur photographers can put their skills to the test in a contest to see who can best capture the natural beauty of Steele Creek Park in Bristol, Tennesse.

    According to a news release from the City of Bristol, Tennessee, digital submissions are being accepted for the 18th Annual Wildlife Weekend Photography Contest. The contest lines up with Wildlife Weekend each year and is run by the Friends of Steele Creek Nature Center & Park.

    Photos of the park and its inhabitants can be digitally submitted for a chance to win prizes. The deadline to submit entries is Sept. 23 at 11:59 p.m.

    The photo contest is open to all ages with prizes in adult and youth categories. Pictures must be taken at the park and focus on the natural features of Steele Creek.

    The release states all entries will be available for viewing online, and prints of the winners will be displayed in the nature center for the rest of the year.
