Infrastructure projects moving ahead in Parkersburg
A couple of project updates from Parkersburg. First, the water tower rehabilitation project will start sometime in August. The tower will need to be completely drained to perform the work, and a change order will probably be needed to cover the additional cost to keep the water pressure maintained using portable tanks being brought in to provide storage capacity.
Franklin County Relay for Life is Friday
The 2024 Franklin County Relay for Life will be held Friday at the West Fork Wellness Center in Sheffield. Franklin County Relay for Life Chair, Sheri Bogue. “I just want everybody to come out and enjoy the event if you haven’t been to a Relay for Life event. This is a good time to come and check it out. We’ve got all kinds of things planned throughout the evening and with it being inside we don’t have to worry about anything with heat or rain. So come and join us.”
