(CBS) -- Prospect Park Fire Chief Jim Simmonds resigned Sunday night after sharing a post where "ill-mannered remarks were made on social media" following the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, over the weekend. "I made a terrible mistake in posting an unprofessional post on Facebook," Simmonds wrote in Citizens of Delco, a public Facebook group, Monday. Roman Cole, Colby Clark Charged With Felonies For Shooting
Roman Cole and Colby Clark both 18 of Brogue, PA, and a 17-year-old boy were taken into custody following "a shots fired incident in the area of Lock 12, at the intersection of Holtwood Road and River Road, Lower Chanceford Township, York County," around 7:58 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, Pennsylvania State Police Trooper James Grothey stated in a release.

Five Pa. girls wrestlers garner gold medals at USA Junior Nationals
Five Pennsylvania girls wrestlers took home gold medals Sunday night at the USA Wrestling Junior Nationals in Fargo. N.D. Haylie Jaffe, a Kennett High School graduate and McKendree University commit, outscored her opponents 62-0 en route to the top prize at 140 pounds in the Junior Women’s freestyle bracket. Jaffe was the lone Pennsylvania gold medalist in the Junior Women’s Bracket after defeating Aleksandra Bastaic of Indiana by a 100 count.
