BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — A Broken Arrow football and wrestling coach, Pearlie Graves, was arrested on Thursday for allegedly selling cocaine and being involved in a drug ring.
According to an affidavit, Graves was allegedly a part of a criminal enterprise with another man, Deandre Bullard, who is a convicted felon and has been arrested for several drug and gun-related charges in Tulsa County.
Bullard recently pleaded guilty in July to having a gun after a former conviction of a felony and having cocaine and meth that he had intention to share or distribute.
Bullard was originally arrested in April with trafficking amounts of drugs and guns during one of three separate residential search warrants related to the investigation.
One of the three residential warrants served was at Graves' apartment back in April, but Graves was not there when the warrant was served.
During the search of Graves' apartment, police found cocaine, scales, plastic baggies and guns.
Graves was later arrested and booked into Tulsa County jail on Thursday for unlawful possession of drugs with intent to distribute and driving under suspension.
FOX23 reached out to Broken Arrow Public Schools who shared the following statement:
"Pearlie Graves is currently a coach at Broken Arrow Public Schools. His continued employment status will depend on the outcome of the investigation sparked by his arrest."
