New York Yankees star Aaron Judge has been named a starting outfielder for the American League at the 2024 All-Star Game.

In the least shocking news you'll hear, Judge was the top vote-getter in the American League during Phase 1 of the voting process, making him an automatic starter.

Judge and Philadelphia Phillies star Bryce Harper will represent their respective leagues as the top vote-getters.

Judge has been on an insane tear since the month of May began. He's been the best player in baseball without argument.

Entering Thursday night, Judge leads MLB in OPS (1.145), slugging percentage (.712), wRC+ (215), home runs (30) and RBI (77). His 5.7 fWAR ranks second in MLB behind only Gunnar Henderson (5.9).

Fellow star Juan Soto is among the American-League finalists for the two other starting outfield spots. He's going against Steven Kwan, Anthony Santander and Kyle Tucker.

Fans can begin voting in Phase 2 for the rest of the starters June 30 - July 3.
