NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — A mother and her baby girl were sent to the hospital on Friday night, the infant in critical condition, after they were struck by a car in the Bronx.

The woman, 34, and her six-month-old child were crossing the street at East 134th Street and St. Ann’s Avenue in the Mott Haven section at about 10 p.m. on Friday when it happened, police said.
