NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police released a photo of a suspect on Monday accused of robbing a teen boy at a Bronx subway station last month.

At approximately 11:50 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, a 13-year-old boy was exiting the subway at East 219th Street station on the 2 line in Olinville when the suspect demanded the boy's money and cellphone, authorities said.

According to officials, the suspect simulated a weapon while taking the victim’s property.

The suspect fled on foot to parts unknown with $20 and the victim’s iPhone, valued at approximately $200.

The victim was not injured as a result of this incident.

The suspect has dark brown dreadlocks with blonde colored ends, cops said. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue and orange shorts, and blue and white colored sneakers.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
