We're officially in a heat wave. This is the third heat wave off season, and so far 14 days with 90 degrees or warmer. An air quality alert is in effect from 11 a.m. through 11 p.m. tonight. NEXT: Thursday morning commute is trending drier with improving humidity throughout the day. Highs in the mid- to upper-80s. Friday will be the pick of the week with loads of sunshine, good air quality and pleasantly warm temps in the low- to mid-80s. This weekend will be very warm, slightly humid with plenty of sunshine.
