    Bronx gunman sought after man shot in face, critically injured

    NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police released photos on Thursday of an unidentified man wanted in connection with a shooting in the Bronx, where another man was shot in the face.

    On July 4 at around 9:50 p.m., an unidentified man shot a 45-year-old man in the face and right shoulder near 3340 Bailey Ave., police said.

    Police arrived at the scene, and the victim was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital.

    The victim’s identity has not been released. According to police, he is in critical condition.

    The suspect fled in an unknown direction, police said.
