Chariton County deputies, residents clean up town following intense storms
CHARITON COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ) Brunswick residents are recovering after intense rain and wind entered the area on Tuesday morning. Following the intense storms, members of Brunswick woke up to find tree branches blocking driveways, trees crashed into houses and the roof of First Christian Church blown off. Brookfield hosts Elks mobile dental unit offering free dental care
An Elks mobile dental unit is at the Brookfield Elks Lodge through Thursday, offering dental services to children and adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities identified by the Department of Mental Health, Division of Developmental Disabilities. The unit also serves individuals in extreme financial distress who have been unable to receive dental care elsewhere. These individuals must be referred through an exalted ruler or the benevolent trust chairman and should receive a referral letter from the lodge.
