Police are looking for the thieves caught on camera stealing items outside a Mississippi thrift store that helps provide clothing, food and medical care to those in need.

The thieves were caught on camera Tuesday stealing donations left for St. Andrew’s Thrift Store in Brookhaven.

The store, located on East Monticello Street, has a designated drop-off area behind the store where donors leave items for the mission. All proceeds from sales at the thrift store benefit St. Andrew’s Mission, which provides clothing and food items in McComb, and free medical care in both McComb and Brookhaven.

Surveillance footage recorded two females and one male taking multiple items and placing them into their vehicles. One of the vehicles is a reddish-colored Chevy pickup with a toolbox. The other vehicle is a black Chevrolet SUV with large letters on the back glass that read, “I EAT —- AND COOKIES.”

As of Wednesday afternoon, several people had reported the tag number and other information from the SUV to St. Andrew’s volunteers, who passed on the information to the Brookhaven Police Department. Authorities are now seeking assistance from the public. Anyone with information on the thieves is asked to call Brookhaven Police at 601-833-2424.
