Fairmont artist to be featured at First Friday event
MARIETTA — A West Virginia artist will be featured in a special event Friday during the First Friday celebration in downtown Marietta. Megan Tadlock of Fairmont will be at the Clutch Collective, an independent art shop at 152 Front St., from 5-9 p.m. during First Friday for August organized by Marietta Main Street.

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Hopefully everyone enjoyed the ample sunshine across the Mid-Ohio Valley this weekend. Despite dealing the low 90s for both days, at least it was not humid. Now, as we start a new week, we will say goodbye to the sunshine and must bring back the muggy air. It is going to feel like a bit of a long week as we will be looking at the chance of showers and storms throughout the week. However, we do need more rain here in the Mid-Ohio Valley and throughout West Virginia as drought conditions persist.
