A M King Transforms Coastal GA Spec Building into Advanced Food Processing Facility for Nonprofit MANA Nutrition
Carolinas-based integrated Design-Build firm A M King has begun transforming a 320,000-square-foot, spec warehouse facility in Pooler, GA, near Savannah, into a state-of-the-art food processing for Charlotte-area nonprofit MANA Nutrition, Inc. When the Pooler buildout is complete, MANA will use the facility to produce its signature Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) and Ready-to-Use Supplemental Food (RUSF). MANA already operates an 80,000-square-foot production facility in neighboring Fitzgerald and plans to hire more than 100 additional employees when the Pooler facility is finished in January 2025. The additional, larger facility will allow MANA to boost production of innovative new products, serving life-saving food to millions of children worldwide who are suffering from Severe Acute Malnutrition.
Hyundai entices New York real estate investors to purchase south Chatham apartment complex
The Georgetown Crossing apartments in south Chatham County will soon feature a new name and new amenities. Real estate investment firms Peach Hill Capital and RK2 Property Group recently acquired the complex for $25.6 million, and the joint venture is set to renovate the property, including renaming the complex Georgetown Oaks, according to a press release on the purchase.
