Local competitors Fred Richard and Stephen Nedoroscik both solidified their spots on the roster Saturday.Richard is a Stoughton High School graduate while Nedoroscik is a Worcester native. Marion resident medals at Massachusetts Special Olympics
MARION — Thomas Grondin spent his first nights away from home for the Massachusetts Special Olympics in Boston in early June. Three swim events later, Grondin had three medals. He was one of more than 1,5000 athletes competing at the Massachusetts Special Olympics summer games between June 7 to June 9, which in addition to swimming had events like tennis, volleyball, powerlifting, and track and field.

Men's and Women's Hockey Have Total of 20 All-American Scholars
Milton, MA - The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) is once again recognizing varsity ice hockey players who compiled exceptional results in the classroom during the 2023-24 season with the announcement of the eighth annual "Krampade All-American Scholars." To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester, and had to appear in 40% of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders. Schools also were required to be members of the AHCA. A total of 20 Curry student-athletes were recognized.

Men's Lightweights Set to Compete at the Henley Royal Regatta this Week
