Indiana and Illinois Arby’s Locations Affected by Franchisee Bankruptcy
After filing for bankruptcy, a small Arby's franchisee is selling some locations and closing others. Miracle Restaurant Group LLC, a company based out of Louisiana has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Miracle owns 25 Arby's locations in Indiana, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. This isn't Miracle Restaurant Group's first Chapter 11 filing according to Nation's Restaurant News,
WTHR photographer rescues cat from station car's engine, now adopting her
INDIANAPOLIS — It's not very often that a photographer gets to be a part of the story, but that's just the case for WTHR 13News photographer Alex Almanza!. After returning from a shoot Saturday night around 11:30 p.m., Almanza heard a loud meowing coming from the station parking lot. He decided to look around and find the source of the meowing, when he found a small female cat stuck in the engine bay of one of the station's cars!
Trash or Treasure: Is This the Best Antique Mall in Indiana?
Indiana is chock-full of places to enjoy antiquing or shopping for vintage goodies, but according to some, one location serves as a prime hunting ground. As a longtime Star Wars fan, I'm always looking for new places to browse for vintage collectibles. Most recently, I recently secured an original Kenner "snow speeder" from Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, that was in pretty rough shape. I had to repair a few broken pieces, replace the stickers, and even order a couple of new parts. But with a little elbow grease, I soon had it restored to it's original, or at least, near original condition. It was a fun project.

Starting on July 1, Indiana bars and restaurants will be allowed to sell alcoholic beverages to-go. This is not the drive through daiquiris of Louisiana. The alcohol-to-go will have to be in special sealed containers.
'Dream come true' | Indiana native to make Broadway debut in 'Hamilton'
INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis native Morgan Anita Wood will make her Broadway debut as Eliza in the award-winning musical "Hamilton." Wood will start her performances on Tuesday, July 16 at the Richard Rogers Theatre in New York City. She has been in previous performances of the musical across North America — including Puerto Rico, Honolulu, Toronto, Los Angeles and San Francisco — according to a news release.
