    Downtown Brooklyn’s Fourth of July Parade will take place July 4, with parade line-up at 9:30 a.m. on Irwin Street. There will be activities taking place all day leading up to the fireworks at the Columbia Upper Elementary School.     The Brokerage House Lakeside is holding Yoga Sculpt with Jamie from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 4. Please bring a yoga mat and stay for festive drinks to celebrate. Find other dates for the Summer Outdoor Yoga Series on The Brokerage House’s Facebook page .

    Sandbar Café, Coffee & Creamery is holding their Cruise-In Car Show from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 4 and 18. Enjoy friends, music, cornhole and cards. This event takes place every other Thursday through September. Go to sandbarcafe.cafe for more information.

    Sandy Bottom Adventures is holding a Sunset Paddle from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturdays through July at Evans Lake Resort on U.S. 12 in the Irish Hills. Register at sandybottomventures.com .

    The Manitou Beach Farmers and Crafters Market, put on by the Land & Lakes Ladies Club, will be on Saturdays through Labor Day from 9 a.m. to noon. Enjoy fresh produce, flowers, homemade baked/canned goods and handmade crafts.

    Enjoy the Farmers Market at Cambridge Historic Walker Tavern on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. throughout the summer except July 14 and Aug. 18.

    Brooklyn’s Big Boy has Car Show Nights throughout the summer, from 5 to 8 p.m. every Wednesday, weather permitting. Enjoy a live DJ, 50/50 and driver prizes.

    Walker Tavern Historic Site/Cambridge Junction Historic State Park invites you from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, to enjoy a cool evening in the shaded lawn of the Hewitt House as you listen to some live music by Jackson Uke with Patriotic Theme. Bring a friend, bring a lawn chair, bring a picnic and celebrate summer. The Friends of Walker Tavern will have their root beer for sale. Admission is free. Donations are accepted. Recreation Passport required for park entry.

    The Great American Crab Races, presented by M-R Builders and hosted by The Beach Bar take place Thursday July 11 through Saturday July 13. Kids races are at 1 p.m. on Saturday and the adult races start each night at 6 p.m. For more information contact Linda at 745-2466.
