A Brooklyn commuter says she was wrongfully charged for a transfer to the G train. Jessica takes the 7 train and transfers to the G at Court Square. With the temporary shutdown, a shuttle runs from Court Square to the next available G train station. When getting to that station, commuters are not supposed to be charged when walking through the turnstile. According to the MTA, at that transfer, no MetroCard, OMNY card, or credit card will be charged. Jessica says her MetroCard was. Jessica says one day she tried to make the transfer and she says an MTA worker told her a Go Ticket was needed. The next day Jessica got the Go Ticket and was told booth workers weren't taking the tickets and to swipe her MetroCard. That's when she says she was charged. News 12 spoke with a booth worker who said the tickets weren't being handed out anymore and that there was confusion around the transfer. We asked the MTA for comment on the Go Ticket confusion, and they didn't directly answer the question. Instead, they told us to direct Jessica to MTA customer service, which she has already done, and that Go Tickets aren't being accepted. Currently, Jessica's taking a different commute. "If it relieves the stress of thinking whether or not I will get that transfer ticket, it makes everything better," said Jessica. "
