The family of a Flatbush man killed in a police-involved shooting spoke out about his death and the recent bodycam footage released of the incident. The steps of City Hall were flooded with people demanding justice for Christin Emile, who was killed by an NYPD officer in May. His supporters were chanting "No justice, no peace." His family and advocates shared stories about Emile and what he meant to his community. Many watched the footage of NYPD officers chasing 33-year-old Emile on Church Avenue in East Flatbush. The incident happened on Mother's Day. Investigators said officers saw Emile and another man having an argument during their patrol and saw a gun. The NYPD said they asked him to drop his weapon and that's when they opened fire. His family told News 12 there's two sides to every story. The family is asking Mayor Eric Adams to fire the officers who were involved in his death. They said justice is the only thing that can bring them comfort. News 12 reached out to the mayor's office for comment but did not hear back. "
