    Boy, 4, falls out of 5th-floor window in Brooklyn: NYPD

    FLATBUSH, Brooklyn (PIX11) – A child fell out of a fifth-floor window in Brooklyn Tuesday night, according to the NYPD.

    It happened at 131 East 21st St. in Flatbush around 8:45 p.m. The 4-year-old boy was playing inside an apartment when he somehow fell out of the window, per police.

    The child was taken to Maimonides Medical Center and was in critical condition, according to authorities. He’s expected to survive, per police.

    No arrests were made and no one is in custody, police said. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
