Real estate agent Hetal Gatecha has owned the Brooklyn Park business Reflections Dental Care for almost 10 years and searched around the west metro area for the perfect place for a second location. Gatecha, who will take on the role of clinic director at Reflections Dental Studio in Medina, and her husband, Anupam Gatecha, who will be the dentist at the new studio, are a team.

The couple live in Maple Grove and are both from India. Anupam Gatecha has over 20 years of dental experience, and the Gatecha’s are dedicated to providing care in which insurance doesn’t become a barrier to getting the best care possible.

Beyond just general dental care, Reflections Dental Studio offers cosmetic dentistry, botox and fillers, dental implants, a comfort menu, braces and clear aligners. The comfort menu is meant to make the dentist a relaxing, spa-like experience.

“A little upscale, with the same top-notch services which we have in Brooklyn Park right now, “Hatel Gatecha said. “We have everything pretty much similar, it’s just going to be little bit different in the terms of comfort. It will be a little bit out of network and that kind of deal. So it will be more like a personalized care for every patient.”

The comfort menu will give clients the chance to wind down with warm towels, neck wraps, weighted blankets aromatherapy and more so they can feel comfortable and anxiety-free. Anupam Gatecha will be working at both the Brooklyn Park and Medina locations and because he’s a specialist, he can provide any of the full range of services to clients offered at the Medina location.

In the future, they plan on hiring another general dentist, but for now Anupam Gatecha will solely offer Reflection Dental Studio’s services. Construction of the building is finishing up so that Reflections Dental Studio can host its grand opening on June 8, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

During the grand opening, community members will be able to learn about Reflection Dental Studio’s care options and approach, enter into giveaways, grab some ice cream from an ice cream truck, and view the dental studio for the first time. The building is located at 872 Highway 55 and also contains room for up to three other businesses.

“I want to have the focus completely onto what we are trying to do different here. So I want people to get the tour and talk more about what we are doing different,” Hetal Gatecha said.

Hetal Gatecha is seeking tenants who would be interested in one or more of the available spaces, since the suites can be combined. She hopes to attract other businesses in the medical field such as a chiropractic, dermatologist or other types of businesses that offer medical or health care, but the spaces are also open to other types of businesses as long as they meet the city’s parking lot requirements.

As a result of this, a sit-down restaurant or coffee shop wouldn’t comply with city ordinances, but a takeout or other businesses that meets the parking requirements could be tenants.

Being an out-of-network business, Reflections Dental Care strives to focus less on the stress surrounding financials and more on providing a one-to-one atmosphere.

“Ninety-seven percent of patients are having a mindset about ‘oh, is this covered by insurance? OK, well then I’ll get it done. It’s not covered? Well then I’ll just put it on hold, or I’ll wait until the approval comes, or something like that.’ We want to take that out and sit down with you, talk more about your oral care. What’s going on, maybe take a deep dive into your overall, take a more holistic approach,” Hetal Gatecha said.
