West Sacramento Man Found Guilty in 2020 Murder of Mother of Four
A West Sacramento man, Mandiko Kwadzo, has been convicted of the first-degree murder of Carliena Clayton, a mother of four children, officials announced Wednesday. The fatal incident, which took place in July 2020, has concluded with a guilty verdict after four years of investigation and legal proceedings. According to an article from ABC10, the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office stated Kwadzo also faced charges for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Two Arrests Made in Deadly Jack in the Box Shooting in Santa Rosa From July 2023
Two young men are behind bars in connection with a deadly shooting that happened outside of a Jack in the Box restaurant in Santa Rosa. Twenty-two-year-old Daniel Perez-Mendoza and 19-year-old Christopher Perez-Mendoza of Clearlake were arrested during a traffic stop on Wednesday. The shooting left a 40-year-old man dead almost exactly a year ago, on July 23rd, 2023. The suspects are being held without bail and are due in court tomorrow. Charges have not yet been filed.
