New Ohio University Zanesville youth mental health training prepares teachers to help students more
ATHENS, Ohio (WOUB) — A new mental health training program aims to better equip teachers to connect students and their families with the resources they need. The CARE Team at Ohio University’s Zanesville campus is hosting the training on Aug. 2 and 7 for those who signed up.

ZANESVILLE, OH – As a shortage of healthcare workers affects the nation, Ohio University Zanesville hosted a summer camp built for healthcare exploration and training.. The university’s nursing department hosted a Nursing HEAT Camp for 25 students from 7th to 9th grade. The camp wrapped up today with a special visit from Air-Evac Lifeteam who landed their Bell helicopter on campus for the students to see.
