UWL library is broadening its digital archives
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – The library at UW La Crosse is looking to broaden its archives through the Driftless River Initiative. The initiative aims at expanding collections related to the Driftless Area and the Upper Mississippi River. Being located so close to the western coast of the state means La Crosse attracts more artifacts relating to the history of the area.
Celebrating 95 years of the Rock County 4-H Fair
ROCK COUNTY, Wis. (WMTV) - Janesville welcomes back the Rock County 4-H Fair for year 95! This summer the fair begins on Tuesday, July 23rd and runs through Sunday, July 28th. A county fair filled with rich traditions and fun for all. This fair is an annual family-friendly event held every July in Southern Wisconsin. Fair-goers come from all across the badger state to experience grand stand events, exhibitioner entertainment, great food and of course, the animals!
