City against proposed gravel pit in Town of Verona
The City of Verona has sent a letter to the Town of Verona in opposition of an application for a proposed sand and gravel operation. For the second time now, the City of Verona Common Council’s July 22 agenda included a discussion about a conditional use permit (CUP) application that was recently filed with Dane County for a Wildcat Sand and Gravel Pit in the Town of Verona.
Casey Rabach Named Badgers Assistant Coach
Sturgeon Bay native and former college and pro football offensive lineman Casey Rabach has been named an assistant offensive line coach at the University of Wisconsin. Rabach joined the Badgers’ staff as a personnel assistant in 2022 before moving into the director of scouting role in the spring of 2023 and playing a key role in Wisconsin’s recruiting efforts.
Overture Center launches $30M campaign to shore up aging facility
