Meade County Man Nabs Largest Watermelon Title At State Fair
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (KT) – The Largest Watermelon and Pumpkin Contest took place Saturday afternoon at the Kentucky State Fair in Louisville. Frank Mudd of Meade County was first in the largest watermelon competition with a melon that weighed 233.2 pounds. Dwight Slone of Floyd County had the largest pumpkin weighing in at 1,113 pounds.
