    Here is the talented 2024 Courier Times/Intelligencer all-star baseball team:

    Player of the Year

    Grayson Weikel, Faith Christian, senior

    The Bicentennial Athletic League Presidents Division Player of the Year, Weikel batted .484 with 10 home runs, 40 RBIs and 28 runs scored for the Lions, who won their first PIAA Class A state championship. Pitching-wise, he was 9-0 with a 1.72 ERA and 73 strikeouts in 44⅔ innings. … Committed to Division II Cedarville (Ohio).

    First team

    Reid Miller, Faith Christian, junior, pitcher

    Miller went 8-0 with a 0.32 ERA this season. The right-hander struck out 81 batters and walked 18 in 42⅔ innings, culminating in a four-hit complete game with one unearned run in the 4-1 PIAA Class A state championship game win for the undefeated Lions (23-0). He also hit .597 with a 1.502 OPS, 42 runs scored, 20 stolen bases and 23 RBIs.

    Sam Greer, CB West, senior, pitcher

    Greer was 5-1 with a 1.21 ERA and 66 strikeouts in 40 innings. He also hit .357 with a 1.199 OPS, along with 8 doubles, 5 home runs and 17 RBIs. Greer had two homers, six RBIs and threw five shutout innings in a win over Harry S. Truman… Committed to St. Joseph's.

    Chase Jones, North Penn, junior, catcher

    Jones batted .337 with 28 hits, including 7 doubles, 3 triples, 3 home runs and 21 RBIs. He threw out eight attempted base-stealers, one of whom was only time caught this season. Helped the Knights qualify for state playoffs for the third time in four years. ... Committed to West Chester.

    Matt Gannon, La Salle, senior, infield

    Gannon led the Explorers in hits (33), RBIs (24), runs (27) and doubles (7) while batting .429. He had three 3-hit games and six two-hit games. ... Helped La Salle advance to the PIAA Class 6A state championship game after winning the District 12 title. … Committed to Scranton.

    Chase Harlan, CB East, senior, infield

    A repeat first-team pick, Harlan hit a team-best .382 with team-highs in hits (26), doubles (8), walks (16) and OPS (1.256), to go along with 5 home runs and 23 RBIs for the Patriots. A Clemson commit, he was a second-team All-American selection by Baseball America.

    Tyler Lutz, Souderton, junior, infield

    Lutz batted .418 with a team-high 23 hits, including 4 doubles, a team-high 14 RBIs and a .939 OPS. … He had three hits in a May 7 game against North Penn. … Lutz also struck out 38 batters in 26⅓ innings with a 2.39 ERA pitching. ... Committed to James Madison.

    Moody hit .362 with seven doubles and two triples among his 21 hits and scored 20 runs for the Suburban One League Colonial Division champion Patriots. He helped East make the state playoffs for the first time in school history. … Committed to James Madison.

    Jordan Czerniak, Pennsbury, senior, outfield

    The Falcons' cleanup batter, Czerniak hit .310 with 4 doubles, 2 home runs and 22 RBIs, along with 22 hits. He had a double off the opposite-field wall and two-run homer in a road win over SOL Colonial Division champ CB East. … Committed to Division II Lackawanna College.

    Eddie Rosado, Holy Ghost Prep, sophomore, outfield

    Rosado led the Firebirds in hits (33), RBIs (28) and doubles (8). He also had a .452 batting average and a 1.104 OPS for Holy Ghost, which won its first state championship (Class 4A) after taking the District One title. He had two hits in the championship game and three in a quarterfinal win over Dallas.

    Anthony Trommer, Neshaminy, senior, outfield

    Trommer batted .363 with 29 hits, 24 RBIs, 22 runs scored, 7 doubles, 2 triples and 2 home runs. He batted .500 (9 for 18) in the playoffs as Neshaminy advanced to the PIAA Class 6A state quarterfinals, won a school-record 21 games and captured the SOL Patriot Division. … Committed to Bloomsburg.

    Cole Guy, Bristol, sophomore, utility

    A repeat first-teamer, Guy was the BAL Independence Division Player of the Year. He hit .442 with an OPS of 1.325 and scored 25 runs, in addition to 2 home runs, 21 RBIs and a team-high 20 walks. He also struck out 67 in 31⅓ innings pitched and had a 2.68 ERA.

    Ryan Fox, Neshaminy, senior, DH

    Fox batted .407 in his first year as a high school hitter with a 1.067 OPS. He had two home runs, 15 RBIs with 21 runs scored in 19 games. He also was 6-1 pitching with a 2.27 ERA, to go along with 57 strikeouts and 13 walks in 37 innings. … Committed to Millersville.
