Hays County fugitive arrested after months on the run
SAN MARCOS, Texas — Deputies with the Hays County Sheriff's Office arrested Ulises Hernandez on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, on outstanding warrants. Hernandez, who was listed on the Hays County Crime Stoppers Top 10 Most Wanted List, faced multiple charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, assault on a peace officer, possession of a controlled substance, evading arrest with a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, failure to identify as a fugitive, terroristic threat, and reckless driving, according to the Hays County Sheriff's Office.

Police identified the victim and assailant of a July 3 murder-suicide at an East Austin apartment complex, according to a Monday press release.
