    Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse have secured $40 million to establish the region's semiconductor industry. The I-90 corridor had been designated as a federal tech hub in 2023. The Buffalo-Rochester-Syracuse region was one of 12 recipients of the funds.

    ConnectLife, Fattey Beer and the Buffalo Bills are teaming up for a blood drive. Donors over 21-years-old will get a voucher for a buy one, get one free pint at any Fattey Beer location. Donors will also be entered into a giveaway for tickets to Bills training camp, which includes some VIP perks like an exclusive seating area and food. Donations can be made at any local ConnectLife location.

    The Queen of Heaven Carnival Committee and Hammerl Amusements have renewed their partnership with a five year contract. Hammerl Amusements has been a part of the Queen of Heaven Carnival since 2016. The 43rd Queen of Heaven Carnival begins July 12th in West Seneca. There will also be a special cruise night on the 11th.
