Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Luxury nail salon Cure Nail Parlor will open at 5110 Camp Road in Hamburg next Tuesday morning at 9 with a ceremonial ribbon cutting. Customers can get $10 off any individual service during opening week. The salon will also celebrate local women owned businesses with pop-up shops on-site.

Niagara University has been designated a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense by the National Security Agency. Schools must meet numerous criteria, including program quality, faculty expertise, and student support. The honor gives NU increased access to funding for research and collaboration opportunities with other schools that have the same designation.

The Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls will host its first ever "(716) Day" event next Tuesday from noon until 2pm. Community organizations like Destination Niagara USA, United Way of Greater Niagara and Artpark will be on-hand. There will also be a Back-to-School donation drive.
