The Buffalo Bills should have their starting right tackle available once training camp kicks off.

The team’s rookies reported for training camp duty on Tuesday. Once the veterans get to town on July 23, Spencer Brown should be among them ready to go on the first day of practice.

Brown said via the Buffalo News that he will be healthy for camp’s start following offseason shoulder surgery:

Brown, 26, had surgery on his shoulder this spring after not showing up on the injury report at all due to such an injury in 2023. The offensive lineman did not fully participate throughout the team’s June mandatory minicamp.

However, Brown explained that the injury took place in Buffalo’s final playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefs. That is why he was never on an injury report.

Last offseason, Brown hadoffseason back surgery as well. That tune up likely helped Brown have his most-promising season-to-date.

That is backed by Pro Football Focus. The football analytics outlet gave Brown a career-high 68.1 overall mark for his efforts last year. Additionally, Brown allowed 42 total QB pressures, another career-best.

Bills Wire will continue to provide all updates leading up to, and during, 2024 training camp.
